Ghost Pines
Wine tasting review
Bright acidity and texture on the palate with a long finish. It's full-bodied and has a seamless texture and a great finish. The nose is delicate and appealing. Great promise for the future.Wine enthusiast acclaim
Good and interesting for Zinfandel, even despite its strength (14.5%)! The aroma contains overripe plum, cloves, bark. On the palate, you will find the sweetness of raspberries and black currants. The acidity is low and smooth. There are practically no tannins.
Comments
Absolutely awesome Vino, nice deep burgundy color with blossom of fruity fragrances . On the nose plum, cherry jam and tobacco, this is a full bodied Vino with a soft long fishing well balanced and tannins, totally delicious.
Excellent, complex wine! First time trying a pfefferer grape, a muscat varietal, and it pleases. Very crisp and fresh, but with some body to it. Bit of seedy bitterness on the edge, and an assertive pepper that warms the tongue on the finish. Off dry to sweeter finish, but rounded and balanced.
This is smooth and easy to drink with or without food. It didn't offer much variety in taste, though, the first sip reveals its character.
Very smooth and easy
This is an incredible wine. Fantastic. Drink it and buy it for your cellar.
Fruity, elder like
Not a great nose to it, but nice on the palate, fruit forward, peach pear, hint of green apple. a bit of lingering aromatics of passionfruit. It’s got a good balance of acidity with a bit of residual fruit to finish. Quite transformative fruit forward to start, more citrus to finish with lots of rock mineral undertones.
Extremely pleasant starter for a night: golden pale small bubble and really nice balance. Nose: Sweet butter brioche, smoke and lemon cream pie, some white pepper Palate: off dry ripe lemon and salt, some minerals Medium-long finish
