The mouth is medium-weight, supple, and carries a very long finish. It had a traditional fermentation and matured exclusively in stainless steel and concrete. To bring out the best in the wine, match with local products, such as cheeses, cured meats, pasta with meat sauce or grilled meats. Lovely, clean finish.

A bold, energetic and slightly «rustic» wine from the papal enclave. In the aroma of violet, blackberry, black currant and a little leather. Blackberry and cherry pits on the palate. Astringent, tannin. The aftertaste is quite long. Alcohol 14.2% (for the first time I see that it is specified so precisely). Bio and unfiltered wine and, moreover, it is made from old vines. A complete set!

85% Grenache
10% Mourvèdre
5% Syrah

A purchase based on the app recommendation. And wow! Nice work. Smooth & sweet - berries & oak, vanilla flavours. Went really well with a pasta dish. Loved it... Very enjoyable (and easy!) to drink. Get this bottle & enjoy!

Fruity but refreshing wine Extremely good with seafood and pasta It has a slight acid and sparkling note that makes it more enjoyable than other top fruity varieties

Region
Côtes du Rhône is a wine-growing Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) for the Rhône wine region of France, which may be used throughout the region, also in those areas which are covered by other AOCs. In a limited part of the region, the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages AOC may be used, in some cases together with the name of the commune.
Grapes
Carignan is a red grape variety of Spanish origin that is more commonly found in French wine but is widely planted throughout the western Mediterranean and around the globe.
Grenache or Garnacha is one of the most widely planted red wine grape varieties in the world. It ripens late, so it needs hot, dry conditions such as those found in Spain, where the grape most likely originated.
Syrah, also known as Shiraz, is a dark-skinned grape variety grown throughout the world and used primarily to produce red wine. In 1999, Syrah was found to be the offspring of two obscure grapes from southeastern France, Dureza and Mondeuse Blanche.
