Dense and complex on the palate. Medium body, medium fine tannins and a focused finish. The wine is fresh and bright with an especially buoyant personality. Lovely, clean finish.

This Tempranillo seems to be done well, but a bit boring and flat. But OK for the regular dinner.

Very rich taste and nosé. It's lilies here, peach and apple. It's less gentle than earlier vintage but it's also a stronger character now

Top Teil. Sehr rund, ausgewogen, restsüß, süffig, einfach lecker. Eingemachte Beeren, Vanille, Holz. Voller Körper, dezente tannine. Unkomplizierter Wein für nette Abende.

Solid opus from a reliably good producer. Smooth and pleasantly effervescent mouth with expessive lime touched by a subtle note of toasted pine nuts leading to a happy bitterness on the finish.

Region
Rioja in Northern Spain is best known for berry-scented, barrel-aged red wines made from Tempranillo and Garnacha. It is arguably Spain's top wine region. It is certainly the most famous, rivaled only by Jerez.
Grapes
Tempranillo or Tinta Roriz is a black grape variety widely grown to make full-bodied red wines in its native Spain. Its name is the diminutive of the Spanish temprano, a reference to the fact that it ripens several weeks earlier than most Spanish red grapes.
