Round and creamy with a savory, flavorful finish. There is a superb balance in this wine with good freshness. The nose is delicate and appealing.

Interesting. Thick straw colour. Very aromatic: ripe peaches and apricots. Absolutely dry, yet soft. Due to the age, the acidity is almost all gone. However, as well as freshness (even taking into account the fact that Sereno has Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc). The aftertaste has a slight bitterness of citrus zest. Alcohol is not felt, although it is 13%. In general, during all this time the wine has not lost its charm, although I think that this is the maximum age for it.

You really can’t go wrong with any of these terrific wines from the the excellent vineyard. Rich, smooth, full bodied and silky soft. Like falling into a velvet sofa covered in feather cushions. Pairs well with anything worthy of it like a good cheese board. Wonderful stuff!

Great wine, not an everyday, but pairs great with food. There is an overwhelming note of pear which brings a fresh and fruity feel to the wine. Would recommend for a beginner or an advanced wine connoisseur.

Region
The Colli Orientali del Friuli is a Denominazione di origine controllata located in the Italian wine region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The region is located in the province of Udine and is sub-divided into three main sections; Ramandolo in the north, Cialla and Corno di Rosazzo.
Grapes
Pinot blanc is a white wine grape. It is a point genetic mutation of Pinot noir. Pinot noir is genetically unstable and will occasionally experience a point mutation in which a vine bears all black fruit except for one cane which produces white fruit.
Sauvignon Blanc is a green-skinned grape variety that originates from the Bordeaux region of France. The grape most likely gets its name from the French words sauvage and blanc due to its early origins as an indigenous grape in South West France. It is possibly a descendant of Savagnin.
