The finish is skinny, mineral-leesy and bright, suggesting this will age well. Fresh and minerally. The wine has a silky smooth texture with red and blue tones in the bouquet. Great promise for the future.

Pale and clear as water. But the aroma is like a fruit bomb! You will find passion fruit, and gooseberries, and blackcurrant leaves. Well done. Very nice Sauvignon Blanc by Island Bay.

Wow. Delicious young wine. Multi layers of fruits. Continuously evolves in a glass. Unlike the description here the acidity is actually medium+. This balances the sweetness of the wine very well. Vanilla, cherry, cassis, plum, cedar, chocolate and more. Slightly jammy but not cloying at all.

Refreshing, mineral and asian pear and floral. A bit sweet but not too sweet. Would buy it again.

Skøn afbalanceret frugtig uden at være for sød... Lækkert til en fredagspizza i december 👌

Region
Marlborough is New Zealand's most important wine region by far. Situated at the northeastern tip of the South Island, this dry, sunny region is home to more than 500 growers and produces more than three-quarters of all New Zealand wine. Vineyard area exceeded 26,000 hectares in 2018.
Grapes
Sauvignon Blanc is a green-skinned grape variety that originates from the Bordeaux region of France. The grape most likely gets its name from the French words sauvage and blanc due to its early origins as an indigenous grape in South West France. It is possibly a descendant of Savagnin.
