Wonderful mineral notes make this a round and weightier wine with a pleasant finish. It's full-bodied and has a seamless texture and a great finish. The nose shows off black cherry and forest floor. Lovely!

It seemed to be a very mediocre Rioja Blanco. «Water with lemon» in the style of Pinot Grigio. There is a little bit of lemon and unripe peach in the aroma and taste. I didn’t find the pineapple mentioned by the Vina Hortensia
winery. The acidity is quite high.

Superman wine and by far one of my absolute faves. The sun and lots of plum with incredible balance. Beauty of a beast. 👌🏻

This is truly delicious, I wish I was drinking it on my balcony on a hot summers day instead of the middle of winter.

Fruity and soft

Region
Rioja in Northern Spain is best known for berry-scented, barrel-aged red wines made from Tempranillo and Garnacha. It is arguably Spain's top wine region. It is certainly the most famous, rivaled only by Jerez.
Grapes
Tempranillo blanco is a white Spanish wine grape variety that is grown in the Rioja Denominación de Origen. It is a mutation of the red Tempranillo grape variety that is planted in Rioja. The white grape variety was discovered in a Tempranillo vineyard in the Rioja region by a wine grower in the late 20th century.
Verdejo is a variety of wine grape that has long been grown in the Rueda region of Spain. The grape originated in North Africa, and was spread to Rueda in about the 11th Century, possibly by Mozarabs. Verdejo was generally used to make a strongly oxidized, Sherry-like wine.
Viura, also called Macabeo or Macabeu, is a white variety of wine grape. It is widely grown in the Rioja region of northeastern Spain, the Cava producing areas south of Barcelona, and the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France.
