The tasting experience concludes with exciting finish. The palate is cohesive in flavor and structure. This is another classically elegant, complex wine that's going to evolve nicely for at least 7-8 years. Lovely!

Excellent Red Blend! A worthy alternative to Bordeaux. The aroma is cherry and a little blood. Good balance and already soft smooth tannins, albeit tangible.

I liked it, she outright loved it. Concentrated aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla, ripe plum. Went great with cheese, less so with meat, surprisingly (low acidity?)

Simply outstanding! Penetrating bouquet of flowers, a mouth full of spices and yellow fruits that linger on in the back of the tongue. At its best with Thai food IMHO

Is the best wine, that I ever tasted. For the quality and price, you can't find others.

Top Teil. Sehr rund, ausgewogen, restsüß, süffig, einfach lecker. Eingemachte Beeren, Vanille, Holz. Voller Körper, dezente tannine. Unkomplizierter Wein für nette Abende.

Very smooth and full of flavour

It was ok… finish was short, effervescent almost!

Very good taste. Light wine. Fully recommended, especially with fish and calamari.

Dry & crisp. Kelli is a fan. If I am trying to be critical I'd say it lacks the complexity of something like an egly or a gosset, but definitely a good buy at the price.

Region
The Southern Highlands form part of the Great Dividing Range, with the area sitting between 500 and 900 metres above sea level; the vineyards are positioned at up to 700 metres in altitude. Generally the region is cool, moist and slightly humid. The current wine history of the region dates only from the 1980s, when the Joadja Vineyards and Winery were established. The main wine varieties produced include Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Grapes
Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world's most widely recognized red wine grape varieties. It is grown in nearly every major wine producing country among a diverse spectrum of climates from Canada's Okanagan Valley to Lebanon's Beqaa Valley.
Merlot is a dark blue–colored wine grape variety, that is used as both a blending grape and for varietal wines. The name Merlot is thought to be a diminutive of merle, the French name for the blackbird, probably a reference to the color of the grape.
Petit Verdot is a variety of red wine grape, principally used in classic Bordeaux blends. It ripens much later than the other varieties in Bordeaux, often too late, so it fell out of favour in its home region. When it does ripen it adds tannin, colour and flavour, in small amounts, to the blend.
