Wine tasting review
The fermentation balances acidity and adds to its layered flavors, while a rich, seamless intensity defines the palate leading to a long, structured finish. Fresh, salty, mineral-driven and hugely refreshing; quintessential wine. It's more serious in the end, with a medium to full-bodied palate with plenty of notes and good acidity. Lovely, clean finish.
Wine enthusiast acclaim
This is clearly not the best time to open this bottle. The aroma is beautiful and very noble: cherry, raspberry, oak. Everything is very restrained and portends real pleasure in a glass. But in fact, the balance is shifting towards acidity. What a pity! Perhaps it still needs to wait for the best time.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita status for a red wine produced in the vineyards surrounding the town of Montepulciano, Italy. The wine is made primarily from the Sangiovese grape varietal (known locally as Prugnolo gentile) (minimum 70%), blended with Canaiolo Nero (10%–20%) and small amounts of other local varieties such as Mammolo. The wine is aged for 2 years (at least 1 year in oak barrels); three years if it is a riserva. The wine should not be confused with Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, a red wine made from the Montepulciano grape in the Abruzzo region of east-central Italy.
