This wine has depth and layers that continue to an extremely long finish. Well-structured and minerally. It's more serious in the end, with a medium to full-bodied palate with plenty of notes and good acidity. Impressive.

Attention! Drink only after decantation. El Carisma Reserva means really reserva.

Enjoyable piece, although it becomes quite heavy when it's coming closer to the end of 2nd glass )) Very nice combination of plum, cherry bone, leather, pepper and oak notes. The one for trying again.

What I get is why it is so popular among most wine lovers.

Nice wine although for some reason I preferred it chilled

Fruity, elder like

Overpowering melon taste. Too dry for my liking

Solid opus from a reliably good producer. Smooth and pleasantly effervescent mouth with expessive lime touched by a subtle note of toasted pine nuts leading to a happy bitterness on the finish.

Region
Rioja in Northern Spain is best known for berry-scented, barrel-aged red wines made from Tempranillo and Garnacha. It is arguably Spain's top wine region. It is certainly the most famous, rivaled only by Jerez.
Grapes
Tempranillo or Tinta Roriz is a black grape variety widely grown to make full-bodied red wines in its native Spain. Its name is the diminutive of the Spanish temprano, a reference to the fact that it ripens several weeks earlier than most Spanish red grapes.
