Concentrated yet lithe in style, showing fine definition and minerally cut on the long, focused finish. Bright and clear. It's more serious in the end, with a medium to full-bodied palate with plenty of notes and good acidity. Drink now.

The bottle turned out to be infected with cork disease. I Hope, you will be luckier!

Fantastic bouquet of the most beautiful dark ripe berries in wonderful combination with wood, tobacco and chocolate. Nice deep burgundy color with a visible fatness. The wine is full-bodied and powerful without being too much.

What I get is why it is so popular among most wine lovers.

Love it

Very strong bouquet not the taste. It seems that water was added.

Great taste. Specially for the price.

Solid opus from a reliably good producer. Smooth and pleasantly effervescent mouth with expessive lime touched by a subtle note of toasted pine nuts leading to a happy bitterness on the finish.

Region
Rioja in Northern Spain is best known for berry-scented, barrel-aged red wines made from Tempranillo and Garnacha. It is arguably Spain's top wine region. It is certainly the most famous, rivaled only by Jerez.
Grapes
Tempranillo or Tinta Roriz is a black grape variety widely grown to make full-bodied red wines in its native Spain. Its name is the diminutive of the Spanish temprano, a reference to the fact that it ripens several weeks earlier than most Spanish red grapes.
