Charles Smith
Wine tasting review
On the palate, it is pleasantly refreshing and leaves a long finish, which come from aging in wood. There is a superb balance in this wine with good freshness. Smooth, and round, with clean yet dense and luscious style. It might be the finest wine I've tasted under this label.Wine enthusiast acclaim
Interesting Band of Roses Rosé from absolutely not typical grapes (100% Pinot Grigio) made by the music producer Charles Smith. Very aromatic: there is a whole strawberry meadow in the glass. Intense sweet-berry aftertaste. The acidity is so low that it is practically absent.
Comments
Beautiful balance. Warm cider and earthy. Full bodied. Burning wood, old leather, ash, roasted stone fruit. Deep garnet color.
🇮🇹 ... powerful and balanced taste for wine👌🏻
Der absolute Hammer!
Nice but lacking a finish to match the rest of the wine
Toppertje. Fluweelzacht.
Very fresh and fruity, just a bit mineral
Very good taste. Light wine. Fully recommended, especially with fish and calamari.
Just perfect taste and beutifull color
Washington
Washington is state one of the most popular new winemaking regions, that rivals that of the neighbors to the south. Washington ranks second in the United States (behind California) in the production of wine. Washington has 14 federally defined American Viticultural Areas with all but one located in Eastern Washington. The largest AVA is the Columbia Valley AVA, which extends into a small portion of northern Oregon and encompasses most of the other Washington AVAs.
Pinot Gris
Pinot Gris, Pinot Grigio or Grauburgunder is a white wine grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera. Thought to be a mutant clone of the pinot noir variety, it normally has a grayish-blue fruit, accounting for its name but the grapes can have a brownish pink to black and even white appearance.
