The mouth is medium-weight, supple, and carries a very long finish. Medium body, medium fine tannins and a focused finish. Vivid aromas kick off the nose of this bottling. De facto a single vineyard wine.

8 Crianza by Monte Toro did not impress me at all. This wine is dense and rich. In the aroma, there are red berries and eucalyptus and mixed with something else, such as a varnish. The acidity is still quite high while tannin is also high! There is an aftertaste but can’t say it is very nice.

Catching up with the wines from last week. This is one of, if not my favorite wine and I always have a bottle in my cellar. Full bodied, juicy, dense and full of texture in the palate. Ripe dark fruit, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon. The usual slight sweetness towards the finish. Top stuff! ⭐️

Grapes
Tempranillo or Tinta Roriz is a black grape variety widely grown to make full-bodied red wines in its native Spain. Its name is the diminutive of the Spanish temprano, a reference to the fact that it ripens several weeks earlier than most Spanish red grapes.
