The tasting experience concludes with exciting finish. It's full-bodied and has a seamless texture and a great finish. To bring out the best in the wine, match with local products, such as cheeses, cured meats, pasta with meat sauce or grilled meats. Great promise for the future.

I love Cabernet Franc very much for its «vegetable» aromas. This one is no exception. Vegetarian borscht jumps out of the glass. But overall, the wine seemed a little thin. There is not enough density. Worth mentioning its funny title «75 cl de Terroir Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil».

Floral nose of lily and white rose as well as stone fruit. On the palate a bit of peach, lychee and pear, very imperial, really nicely balanced acidity, decent complexity, clean and structured, bright and with a pretty long finish. For the price, it's fantastic.

It is very good vine. Wine, actually. Funny is that everyone can find something for themselves. Even tastes are different. Highly, highly recommend.

Region
Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil is the only AOP of the Loire Valley produced on its own area; it’s located between Tours and Angers. The Cabernet Franc, the single grape variety of the AOP, extends on a soil composed of gravels, sands and sometimes limestone .
Grapes
Cabernet Franc is one of the major black grape varieties worldwide. It is principally grown for blending with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in the Bordeaux style, but can also be vinified alone, as in the Loire's Chinon.
